EASY EXERCISE

Who wants to go out in the (pick one) cold, heat, snow, rain, smog, crowd, desert, wilderness....and get all smelly, aching muscles, etc. Besides it requires a whole new outfit of clothes these days, and if they fit in the beginning, I sure hope they don't after awhile.

Oh, there are worlds of machines with promises to match their price tags, but remember the part about getting smelly and aching muscles?

Of course, jocks don't care if their exercise is easy, they would rather have a challenge. So someone you love is not a jock, and perhaps, neither are you.

Why exercise at all? Because the mirror, the family, the friends, and finally even the doctor insist. Besides, without proper exercise, you will not only look older but you will feel older, too. Who wants that?

special clothes (unless you just want to). There are some fun ways to exercise that are easy. Best of all, you are more likely to keep on exercising as you feel and look better. Try exercising the easy way and you might just learn to like it! Sure beats feeling tired all the time.

SHOULD YOU CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR FIRST?

Probably...especially if you haven't been to doctor recently AND you are really out of shape or have a medical problem. Of course, if your doctor has already told you to exercise, then what are you waiting for? Otherwise, IF you do start easy...with easy exercises, there should be no danger. Please do not start out gung ho, trying or doing more than recommended.

LOSE WEIGHT

Your clothes are too tight, you get indigestion, your feet hurt when you have to stand up or walk a lot, your doctors says...

Yes, you want to lose weight, but...

You have tried just about every diet & then the weight comes back on, only mostly in the wrong places! That's known as yo-yo dieting, and guess what--it's not good for you. It gets ever worse.

So how do you lose weight and keep it off? There are a number of ways, ways that don't make you go hungry, ways that are not dangerous to your health. If fact, you will be healthier than ever as you approach and maintain the proper weight for your height and bodytype.

Weight loss is not a one size fits all proposition. And it doesn't have to cost an arm & a leg, or even a mountain of will power. What have you got to lose?

MORE ENERGY

Are you always, or often tired? Or do you just get that mid-afternoon slump when suddenly you are brain-dead just when the boss is looking for ..... that is due before quitting time. Or the kids wear you down before you even get them off for school. Or you are a senior citizen and feel every year of it.

Any way you slice it, it's not meant to be that way. It is possible to wake up full of energy and stay that way all day long every day no matter what your age! If that sounds too upbeat to be true, believe it anyway. I used to be there..the first part of the first sentence...always tired. For years. But that was years ago, thank goodness. I am a senior citizen, but I feel better and have more energy than I did at half my present age.

Tired is what you are supposed to feel at the end of a full day of hard physical exercise...a little harder than your every day activity. But then it feels good when you quit, you can eat hearty, sleep sound & wake up just fine.

Yet, I've seen teenagers wake up tired after laying around doing nothing the day before, just being lazy, not sick. Give them homework or chores, and it's, "Ah, mom, not now..." And then, I have seen those same teenagers actually do their chores cheerfully without being asked...and they still weren't sick!

Some simple things can start giving you more energy, getting you started on the path to all day-every day kind of energy. Interested?

GETTING IT IN PRINT

Are you a writer? Do you have something to say? Or, do you need to have something said? In print, that is. You know, hard copy. As in books, catalogs, magazines, newsletters, posters and what have you.

Now you need, or want, to have it in hand. Finished. But you don't know how, or where to start.

Actually, the library is a good place to start. The Internet gives you access to libraries the world over, so polish up your skills and have at it.

Hey, not so fast? Who needs paper any more? Almost all of us use more paper than ever before, and not just for printing what we download, although a lot of us do that, too. (We also recycle.) The Web & rest of the 'Net has not made hard copy obsolete any more than man's trip to the moon has made earth less crowded. Besides, there are still too many people without computers.

OK, you've done your research, or you aren't sure how to begin, and you still have something that you need/want in print. Depending on where you live in the world, our desk-top publishing division can probably save you some money, and get the job done, or at least help steer you in the right direction.
