Dr. Myers may have renamed himself Almost A. Hasbin (pun intended), but in
truth, he was a perceptive and original thinker...truly ahead of his times (and
our times.)
Dr. Myers expected to make his big contribution to society as an "efficiency
engineer in education." Why he failed to do so in his lifetime could be an
eye-opener for every parent, educator, and voter concerned with the plight of
both schools and government in the U.S. today. Far from being outdated, his
educational recommendations are now more timely than ever.
Family farms are officially on the endangered list. His two short essays on
pages 135 and 146 written many years ago tell why.
As a Christian, Dr. Myers told the truth. As a scientist, he first tried to
find the truth, to be sure it WAS the truth. As a man, he followed his
conscience... This book is an inspiring lesson in how NOT to become a failure!
